ANASA Elements — reformer Pilates in nature
About ANASA Elements

Built on Breath.
Shaped by Place.

A reformer Pilates retreat for people who want more from a week away.

Our Story

It started with a question: what would a retreat actually look like if it were done properly?

Not a fitness camp. Not a spa weekend with a yoga class tagged on. Something that genuinely combined elite reformer Pilates instruction with the kind of travel experience that changes how you feel in your body for months afterwards.

ANASA Elements was built around that question. We took the best of what we knew — STOTT Pilates methodology, an obsession with nourishment, a belief in the restorative power of place — and we built something new.

The name comes from the Greek word for breath and recovery. It felt right. Everything here begins and ends with breath.

The Name
Ανάσα
ah-NAH-sah · Greek

In Greek, anasa means breath — but it carries more than the literal. It is the exhale at the end of a hard week. The pause between effort and ease. The moment you stop holding and start feeling.

Every retreat we design is built around that feeling. The reformer provides the structure. The destination provides the space. The elements — air, earth, fire, water — provide the language for what happens in between.

Our Philosophy

Four elements. One practice.

We organise everything we do around four ideas — each one essential, each one connected. Together, they form a complete approach to how we move, eat, recover, and connect.

Air

Connection

Breath is the thing we share. Shared breath, shared space, the kind of connection that happens when the environment is right.

Earth

Nourishment

Food that genuinely nourishes — organic, seasonal, prepared with care. A real nutritional shift, not just a beautiful table.

Fire

Movement

STOTT reformer Pilates — strong, precise, and purposefully programmed. Movement that transforms and lasts.

Water

Restoration

Time in and near water — sea swims, boat days, poolside stillness. Where effort gives way to ease.

The Approach

Small groups. Serious instruction. Real results.

We keep our groups small — a maximum of ten guests — because we believe that quality of experience depends on intimacy. Your instructor knows your name, your history, and where you need to be pushed and where you need to be supported.

Our sessions are rooted in STOTT Pilates principles: the gold standard of reformer methodology. They are challenging, thoughtful, and adapted to every level in the room. No one is left behind. No one is bored.

By the time you leave, you won't just feel stronger. You'll understand your body differently — and that changes everything.

The People

The small team behind every retreat.

Margarita — Founder & Pilates Instructor

Margarita

CO-OWNED & PILATES INSTRUCTOR

My journey with Pilates began not as a profession, but as a necessity. Diagnosed with severe scoliosis, I sought a solution beyond conventional treatments, finding solace and strength in the Reformer.
